Family Medicine Tracker ("the App") is developed by Mohan Raaj S ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information when you use our mobile application.

Summary: Family Medicine Tracker stores your data on your device and syncs it across your devices via your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We do not collect, access, or share any of your personal or health information. Your data stays within your Apple ecosystem and under your control.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. All data you enter into the App is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and automatically synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service. No data is sent to our servers or any third-party servers. The sync occurs solely between your own Apple devices through your iCloud account.

The types of data you may enter and store locally on your device include:

Profile information: Names and display colors for family member profiles
Medicine information: Medicine names, dosages, instructions, schedules, and stock quantities
Intake logs: Records of when medicines were taken, including timestamps and notes
Vital signs: Blood pressure, blood glucose, temperature, and weight readings
Notification preferences: Reminder settings, sound preferences, and snooze durations

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and synced across your devices via Apple's CloudKit service through your personal iCloud account. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID, as well as Apple's iCloud security and encryption.

We do not operate any servers. The only cloud service involved is your personal iCloud account, which is managed entirely by Apple. We have no access to your iCloud data. For details on how Apple protects your iCloud data, please see Apple's iCloud security overview.

3. Health Data

The App allows you to record health-related information such as vital signs and medication intake. This data is considered sensitive and is treated with the highest level of care:

Health data is stored on your device and synced only to your personal iCloud account
Health data is never sent to our servers or any third-party servers
Health data is never shared with third parties
Health data is never used for advertising or analytics
We have no access to your health data at any time

The App does not integrate with Apple HealthKit or any other health data platform.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone. The App does not contain any:

Analytics or tracking SDKs
Advertising networks
Social media integrations
Third-party data processors
Crash reporting services

The App includes a PDF health report export feature. When you generate a report, the PDF is created locally on your device. Sharing the report (via email, messaging, etc.) is entirely at your discretion and initiated only by you through Apple's standard share sheet.

5. Notifications

The App uses local notifications to remind you about scheduled medicine doses. These notifications are processed entirely on your device by the operating system. No notification data is sent to external servers. You can enable or disable notifications at any time through the App's settings or through your device's system settings.

6. In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time premium upgrade to unlock unlimited medicines. This purchase is processed entirely through Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. We do not receive or store any payment information. Your purchase status is verified locally on your device through Apple's transaction verification system.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is designed for use by adults to manage health information for themselves and their family members. A parent or guardian should supervise any use involving a minor's health data.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You have full control over your data at all times:

Delete individual records: You can delete individual medicines, intake logs, vital readings, and profiles directly within the App
Delete a profile: Deleting a profile removes all associated medicines, intake logs, and vital readings
Delete all data: Uninstalling the App removes all stored data from your device. To also remove data from iCloud, you can manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings

9. Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks beyond Apple's native frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, CloudKit, StoreKit, UserNotifications, and Charts). CloudKit is used solely to sync your data across your own Apple devices via your personal iCloud account. None of these frameworks transmit your personal or health data to our servers or any third-party servers.

10. Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security measures. We recommend that you:

Use a strong device passcode
Enable Face ID or Touch ID
Keep your device's operating system up to date
Do not share your device with untrusted individuals

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
